How Much Money?
Never to early to start teaching children about money. So, next year when I begin working with my 3-5 year olds I had an idea to help them work with money.
For each day that we are in school, we will add a Penny to our pocket chart.
Until, we get to five, then we will add a nickel, and then at ten days we will turn them in for a dime. And so on, to help children gain exposure to money.
You visited me and became a follower and now I'm doing the same. I think you are right. The sooner children learn about money and how to add each one etc the better. It sounds like a good idea with your pocket chart! Joan
ReplyDeleteThank you, I really hope it works as well as I am hoping.
