Back to School Extravaganza

Well it is that time of year. Parents you are probably jumping up and down as you fill your student's backpacks. New notebooks, check. Pencils, pens, paper, and Kleenex, Check. You have it all.  As a teacher, I'm planning those bulletin boards, first day activities and back to school books. I'm working on organizing the paperwork and the room just right. It is an exciting time of year, help with promises and newness. This year I will be teaching preschool for the first time and I have created my very first back to school-Meet the teacher night classroom scavenger hunt. I can't wait to see my new little ones, enjoying their first trip around the room.

Here it is in-case anyone else needs a little back to school activity. Oh yea, the best part about preschool, color and clip art on every form is a must. So, add your own border to spruce it up.

Welcome to Room #116.

Here are your clues, read each one and find that location around the room.  Once you have found that location put a sticker in that box with the answer and move onto the next clue. You may do these in any order you wish. Welcome to preschool and thanks for coming to Meet the Teacher Night.

First stop of the day. Your signature will let your student pass go. Where am I? P.S. Don’t forget the parent packet. Please return the first week of school.	One day you’re a fireman, the next a chef, everyday is different in this little place.  What center am I?	A private room cut off from the rest, I don’t mess around in here it’s not for the best. What am I?	A special place with a date just for you. Find my location and add your name and date to a balloon.
I stand nice a tall with a few rules is all. I will help keep you and your new friends safe. What am I? (parents-please help read them to your student.)	This special location holds my name. A bucket for me and all my daily creations. What am I?	A special button boots me up, while the same button powers me down. You can use me to create, talk, share and learn. What center am I?	Together we make a team, we will help each other learn and grow.  Stop by me and give me a handshake, or a hug, a high-five and your name.   Who am I?

You have completed your scavenger hunt. Please make sure you picked up the parent packet and return it the First week of school. I look forward to the exciting new-year your student and I will share.
