This weekend reading-50 Shades of Grey and Lust

Moving forward with this book, a desperate need is filled up by a controlling out of control situation for these characters.  How do I apply it to my own life?  Well, plenty of men that I have been with that I told myself I could change for and another patch that thought eventually I could change who I was.   I think this book is one that is sad and tells you to remain who you are, but is the pain worth being who you are?
