Big and Bad

Awhile ago,  this little puppy followed Macen home. I have a soft spot for animals, anyone who knows me already, knows this fact to be true.  I told my son's that we could bring her in the house, but we would have to find her a new home, because my bulldog does not want a sister.  That didn't happen and months later, this little puppy not only lives with us but she holds her own in a house with a much bigger doggie.

It doesn't matter how big or small, I guess you really can still be king of the hill.

Desire and Pain

An intense emotional pain is the feeling left in a song that leaves your soul drifting in the wind. No tomorrow, no turning back, because there's nothing left to give.  You don't know if you should weep from the sadness or smile because you feel something so strong you know you're alive.  You vote, weep in pain? Or scream in excitement for feelings you didn't know existed?

Homework

Doing Homework with my son is a feat of crazy strength and Patience.  The skills in math he just learned last week, he did completely wrong, not because he doesn't know it but because it is easier then completing it.  Ideas on motivating him to spend his time doing it correctly are appreciated.  Last week I started him on a new plan, if he volunteers to do his homework, practice his instrument and then clean his room and I don't have to, "nag" him then I will let him stay up later.  In return this evening, I get told, "Well, you said I needed to do it, you didn't say I had to do it right."

Ugh, child. I want to scream, why do it at all if you don't want to do it right.

A chance

Opportunities come and go, is it picking out of hat? A chance encounter or is it meant to be? Who really knows, but I'm grateful because they're knocking on my door.

Color and background, simple changes but make a major change. Wow, the choices.

Time for a change

I have created a very cool looking blog for a business where I work called Salt dental practice management. It was so much fun and inspiring to, so I will be looking for a way to make my own teacher web page just as cool as that one.

Thinking

Well, I seem to have some free time on my hands. I have just completed my Master's in Reading. Yea!!! But I can't start my new one for a few months. It is time to buckle down and work on my writing. I am stalling and unsure where to go from here, but I need to take advantage of this time and dive in.
