6WS-It Works

Moving my body and Income Forward

If you have been following my blog for awhile you know I have been working hard to lose weight. Well, I have now completed thirty days of tap-out. I have been on Chris Powell's food plan for almost a month. But the most exciting new change, for six months I have been taking health products from
 It Works Global. 
 I love the products, they have a wrap that is awesome. Greens, which is eight servings of fruits and vegetables and gives me the energy I would normally attempt to get from a cup of coffee. And now I have taken the leap to become a  

It Works Entrepreneur.     

With so many products out there this was not something I just jumped into. I wanted to make sure I love the product first. I mean how do I sell a product if I myself don't believe in it right. But then one day, I'm driving to work, and I realize that I've only been drinking my, "Greens" this particular morning and I don't have the desire to pull over and go to sleep. This is a very new sensation for me because for the last few years I'm exhausted to the point where I could pull over and take a nap on the side of the road. Today, I'm feeling great. Energized and ready to go. I also decide I don't need my coffee that is steaming in a cup next to me.  I worry slightly that I will pay for this choice at some point in my day. 

But, I don't. The entire day I was great. No caffeine headache and no desire for my afternoon get me through coffee. I'm actually feeling great. But I still waited you now just in case this was a one day fluke. However, after six months the affects have not changed. I have tried multiple products and love them all. 

Because of this, I'm eating healthier, exercising regularly and my sister and I have signed up to do mud runs and 5k obstacle courses. Something I would never have done without this product. Thank you It Works you have changed by life!

6WS

Working hard for a better body

It is not new to those around me that I have been working to lose weight. It seems that I have been working on this for years. I'm on track, I'm off track. However, a few weeks ago my mom and I were discussing our family. She had unfortunately attended an aunt's funeral but while she was there another of her Aunt's was able to attend. She was 92, still driving and had her own apartment. This inspired me to get it together. We are always hearing that our genetic make up affects so much of your bodies. I have been blessed with great genes. And I need to stop abusing the privaige by feeding my body crap. So, here's how I am going to get in shape.

1. Chose more to lose more for life: I am on the turbo plan and feeling very good. Of course it's been a week.  I have learned that carbs do in fact affect me and I need to be careful about how many carbs I'm eating. Even when I'm on a reward or high carb day.

2. Tapout XT: I am now eleven days in to this very intense workout plan. I'm stronger, more flexible and able to sweat through a work out.

Wednesday Workout Update

What have you done this week to keep you motivated and moving forward with your weight loss?


I was talking to my mother-in-law on the phone about what I needed to do to kick my weight loss in gear. I created some motivational pictures and have been running in place again to keep those calories under 1200.  I have also cataloged what I have eaten for two days know. Working on more this week and to keep the momentum going.

Wednesday Weightloss Update


I have drank more water, been taking my Vitamin D pills consistently and worked out twice this last week. Not my best but not my worst week ever. Need to begin counting calories and since I'm not able to do this on my phone I will be working on using the old fashioned way, paper and pencil.

Wednesday Workout Update

I have joined Walktober to help enhance my weight loss goals, I have drank 2 glasses of water today which is more then normal and I worked out completing Jillian Michael's 20 minute slim zone video. 

I am feeling better today then I have been. Oh, and I took my dogs for a walk around my neighborhood. 

My Goal this week: to track what I'm eating on my fitness pal and to walk everyday for my walktober team.

Wednesday

Preparing for the break:

I have been working around the clock to get my information updated on all my students for Gold so that during the fall break I do not have to work. I had a plan this weekend but found it quickly derailed by my lack of motivation. This seems to be happening more and more and I have had enough. I will be working on a new workout plan to increase energy. I sure hope it works because otherwise this is going to be a long week instead of a break.
 I have bought a new water bottle that tracks how many bottles I have had. A new watch that tracks how much I walk and a new workout video to jump start all of this. Wish me luck.
